What to do if 2FA is enforced for you

If you are an organization member and Two-factor authentication enforcement is enabled for you, by an administrator, there are two possibilities:
- You’ve already enabled 2FA on your organization’s Proton for Businesses account. In this case, no further action is needed.
- You haven’t enabled 2FA yet. In this case, you’ll need to enable it before you can sign in.
To do this:
1. Go to pass.proton.me(ventana nueva) and sign in using your Proton account username and password.
2. Re-enter your password and click Sign in.
3. A pop-up warning notice will alert you to the new 2FA enforcement policy placed on your account. To proceed, click Setup 2FA in the notice.
4. You can now enable 2FA.
